How do I change settings for my email? (continued - pg 2) Team Change Notification Email (sent when a member is assigned to an agent) 1. Click on the "Controls" button at the top of the screen. 2. To change the email message that members receive if you assign them to a different agent on your team, click "Edit Team Change Notification." 3. Click into the top text box and type the message you want members to receive. (Your current message is displayed in the second text box) 4. Click "Save Changes" and then "Return." HTML-based Email Header / Footer Controls (to brand your HTML emails) 1. 1. Click on the "Controls" button at the top of the screen. 2. To brand an HTML-based email, click "HTML Email Header & Footer." 3. This controls page is divided into boxes that allow you to modify your message header, the text advertising / branding message associated with your header, the message body, the message footer, and the text advertising / branding message associated with your footer. 4. The boxes for "Message Header" and "Message Footer" provide you with multiple controls in the form of drop down menus. You can select an image from your image library, align the image, and / or scale the image. You can set a background color for your header / footer, a text color, a font style and size, and you can align the text. 5. Controls available for the Message Body include background color for the HTML email, text color, link color, and font style and size. 6. Click "Save Changes" to preview and save your work. Manage Email Accounts 1. Click on the "Controls" button at the top of the screen. 2. To manage the email accounts for your domain, click "Manage Email Accounts." 3. On the "Manage Email Accounts" screen, a list of all associated email accounts will display. You can choose to "Edit" or "Delete" any of the accounts by clicking on the links at the right of that entry. 4. If you select "Edit," you will see a profile page containing controls for that email account. 5. To edit the name of an email address, click into the name field of the specific email address for your domain. For example, you could change noel@yourdomain.com to ed@yourdomain.com if you wanted to. The name you set up (for example "noel") will be configured to receive mail for all of your domains. 6. Click "I want to use Web Mail" if you want to be able to login to your new email account via the Internet using the web mail interface provided by iMaxWebSolutions instead of or in addition to receiving your mail at a different email address that you currently use. To use web mail, go to http:// webmail.imaxwebsolutions.com. 7. Create a password or change your existing password in the password and confirm password area. 8. Click "I want to forward my email" to set up an email "alias." An "alias" creates an email address that doesn't really exist. When people send email to the alias address it is automatically forwarded to a real, existing email address where it is received and can be read. Using this feature, you can take advantage of the branding power of having an email address at your own domain, while actually receiving the email at the email account you already use and enjoy. You can also create addresses such as "info@domainname.com" and have mail sent to that email address forwarded to you. |
